Appointments and email reminder

We appreciate you arriving on time for your appointment and in turn do our best to avoid appointments overrunning. Unfortunately, due to emergency treatment or other unforeseen circumstances, our schedule may sometimes run a little late, resulting in slightly longer wait times than usual.

You can cancel or change your appointment (by phone or email) up to 48
hours in advance without incurring any charge (Friday afternoons, weekends and national holidays excluded).
For example: If you have an appointment on Monday morning, you can cancel or change the appointment for free until Friday morning (unless that Friday happens to be a national holiday).

When an appointment is scheduled, that time has been set aside for you and when it is missed, that time cannot be used to treat another patient. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance or do not show up to your appointment, we will charge you €25 per 15 minutes of the scheduled time.

To help you remember your appointment we send you an email beforehand to help remind you about it. If the appointment time is inconvenient you can reply to the email to reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. The email reminder is a courtesy service. If you did not receive the reminder, or it ended up in your spam mailbox, you are still personally responsible for showing up to your appointment on time. If you repeatedly do not show up to appointments (without cancelling them at least 48 hours in advance by email or phone) we will deregister you as a patient.
